"Milo" Signum Linnaeus Rex won yet another BOB-puppy,
his 3rd such award. Well done!
"Tuffa" Signum Fru Linnea went to her first all-breed
puppy show,
and was not only BOB-puppy but also placed BIS-4 (6-9 months).
The total all-breed puppy entry was several 100!
Soon our Chihuahua-puppies will turn 6 months.

What a wonderful visit to Germany,
seeing Lily and her family at Whipcat,
as well as getting a chance to show
"Lily" Ch Signum Lilies & Willows
at the two shows through the Bundessieger
week-end in Dortmund.
"Lily" finished her German championship (Club) in
style and made us so very proud at these shows
with some 10 000 dogs in competition!

knows the garden in and out, and love to be true
country Whippets!

has finished her Swedish championship
in very limited showing!

Great news from Germany!
"Lily" SBIS Ch Signum Lilies & Willows
did really well at the German Whippet Club specialty,
ending up BOB under British breeder-judge
Mrs Whitaker-Crosby (Mulcair) for yet another SBIS!
Some wins are more special than others, and we
were
really proud to do so well with "Ninfa" Signum Ninfa
at the Swedish Whippet Club National 2008.

first litter is on a winning streak!
Her latest victories include BOB both days
at the all breed KC shows
in Visby, Gotland. She also placed 3rd in
a hot group (FCI group 9)
the first day! Isa now has no less than 9
CC:s from junior/young class.
Tiara's puppies are growing by the day.
Between the rain and showers (we have so
far had
quite a wet Summer in Sweden), they also
enjoy the larger world
outside in their country garden.
Chihuahuas can

Everything is idyllic in their little
world. The eat, sleep and play, while Tiara
is a wonderful mother.

Ch Signum Lilies & Willows
"Lily" has made a come-back
at the shows after her first litter at Whipcat.
While her puppies are making their presence
felt in the
puppy classes, Lily herself won the champion-class
at the Whippet specialty in Neumünster.
Judges Elisabet Janzon (Wolf Tone) and Pauline
Oliver (Spyanfly).
Later also yet another res-CC (her 9th!)
towards her
national German championship.
Lily also went to Austria and a Austrian
Sighthound Club show.
She won the Championclass, as well as the
title Austrian Clubsieger 2007!
Judge: Bo Bengtson (Bohem).
Ninfa Signum Ninfa
did well at the all-breed KC show in Norrköping
winning yet another CC along with BOB.
Judge: Sighthound specialist Ros Bachic from
Australia.
Ninfa has now won her class every time shown
but once
(at the Sighthound Club during the National
week-end last year
at Mariefred where she still was kept through
to the very last cuts for Best Bitch all
along from Junior class).
We are very proud of Ninfa, our "Back-to-Basic"
Whippet!

in Hässleholm.
Isa is from Tiara's first litter, sired
by Ch Chipau Chivas Regal,
bred by Carina Ekwall (Xciting).
Now they are here!
May 16th, "Tiara" Xciting Pearls N'Tiaras
gave birth to 1+2. Everything went well
and both Tiara and her puppies are well.
The colours are different shades of fawn.
They are the first non-Whippet Signum
dogs
ever born and bred. We are very proud
of the little ones!

It started well here in Sweden
when "Ninfa" Signum Ninfa
won the CC, CACIB BOB &
Group-5th at the
Stockholm KC Easter all-breed
show with an entry
of over 4000 dogs all-breeds.
In Afghan Hounds Dominik's son
"Tiger" Ch Xciting
Xtravagant Creation won yet
another BOB, Group-1st as well
as placing BIS-3rd.
(This show attracts many of
the top-winners not least present for
the gala show "Champion of Champions"
at the Grand Hotel Winter Garden!)
In Chihuahuas "Tiara's" daughter
"Isa" Xciting Miss Dinah Might
yet again won her class as well
as placing runner-up to Best Bitch
in a huge entry. Isa is making
it a habit of doing well at the shows,
with her good looks, charming
personality and nice presentation!

stayed home spending a quiet
Easter showing every sign of
having her second litter, sired
by
the handsome "Rosso" ZZman's Testarossa.
News from the AWC National in
the US topped it all off when "Plume"

was awarded Select #1 by judge
Claire Newcombe,
at this the largest Whippet
event in the world!
It was indeed a very good National
for Plume's closest family with
her younger full-brother "Denim"

a real joy to raise.

we have ever had.

This
past Christmas was the first in many, many years that
we didn't get
a personal
and very special Christmas card from Åse Dahlgren.
Through
the years this was always a highlight,
and
we looked forward to what she would come up with every
year!
Sadly
Åse passed away early last Autumn, missed not
only by her
dogs
but also by many friends in the dog and Whippet world.
Many
people have asked what happened to "Felix" (Signum San Marco,
the
one male puppy from Vanessa's only litter)
that was owned by Åse.
He is
now settled in a new loving home with Tina Wiberg
Bertilsson
and

December 14th 2006,
struck complications soon after their birth.
The 1+3 survivors, proved to be little fighters!
Breeding dogs can be quite heart-breaking, but
fortunately Cornelia is now also back in good health.
